Absolutely. The Manager’s Academy is designed for managers at any stage who never got the training for the people side of the role – whether you’ve just stepped into the job or you’ve been managing for a few years but feel like you’re still winging it. How does payment work?
Monthly membership is £57/month, billed each month via PayPal. Annual membership is £570, paid upfront via PayPal. (Want to pay by BACs, then that can be arranged; just get in touch)
You’ll receive a confirmation and access details as soon as payment is processed. Want to join as a group? Get in touch directly, and I’ll sort a group price for you.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly members can cancel anytime and won’t be charged again. No minimum terms, no cancellation fees, and no awkward conversations (the irony). If you’re on the monthly plan and cancel, you’ll keep your access until the end of that billing period.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are usually around an hour – enough time to go deep. Sessions are usually at lunchtime.
What platform are the sessions on?
Sessions usually run on Microsoft Teams. You’ll get the link ahead of each one through the Heartbeat Community and emails.
Can I ask questions or do I just watch?
You can ask questions anytime. These are live, interactive sessions – not webinars where you sit quietly. Bring what you’re dealing with.
Where does the community live?
The community is on Heartbeat, where you can connect with other members between sessions.
I'm not a manager yet, but I'm about to be - is this still for me?
Absolutely. Getting a head start on the real people-side of management before you’re in the room is one of the best things you can do.
I only manage one or two people - will this still be relevant?
Yes. The number of people doesn’t change the complexity of managing them. Everything covered applies whether you have a team of two or twenty.
What if my situation is quite specific - will it get covered?
Very likely. The training is built around what members are actually struggling with or want new insight on. If something’s on your mind, it shapes what we tackle.
Will I get direct access to Nicola or is it pre-recorded content?
The live sessions are with Nicola directly – not a course you watch alone. You get the person, not just the content.
I've done management training before, and it didn't stick - why would this be different?
